about Jeanie

Jeanie Morgan was born and raised right here in the heart of Murray-Calloway County. For her entire life, she has long been an avid and loyal fan of the Racer Nation.

Jeanie first began working on campus in the Housing Office, but her passion for advocating for students and ensuring their success led her to the Advisory role for the Student Government Association. Jeanie has advised and aided countless students. Her experience in Higher Education and passion for its students are what drives her to successfully guide so many students towards their dreams. Jeanie has a long-standing history with the Student Government Association, its facets, and with the entire Murray State University community. She is known by many as the "Knower of all things Murray State" as she begins her 42nd year with Murray State University and will be the first to tell you that she would never want to be anywhere else. Jeanie is also an avid traveler as she has traveled, literally, all over the world. However, while she has thoroughly enjoyed her travel experiences, she is always ecstatic to return home to Murray, KY and Murray State University.

If you have any questions regarding the Student Government Association or any of our scheduled campus activities, please reach out to Jeanie. GO RACERS!

about Christian

Christian was born and raised in a small town located in Hopkins County, KY. Christian's journey to Murray State University was previously paved by his parents as both of them are graduates and Alumni of Murray State University.

Christian is currently a Graduate Student and has been with Murray State University since 2014. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication in May of 2018 and is currently working on his Master's in Human Development & Leadership with a concentration in Public Administration. Christian thoroughly enjoys all the aspects and benefits that come with campus/student involvement. He believes that a true and fulfilling Higher Education experience is found, not in the classroom, but in the facets of involvement that can be found on campus and through the Murray State community.

During his time as an undergraduate, Christian was involved with the Student Government Association as a Freshman Senator, Senator at Large, and Vice-Chair of the Government Relations Committee; Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity as their Family Relations Director, Alumni Director, and member of the national organization's Board of Directors; the Office of Recruitment as a Student Ambassador, a two-time Summer Orientation Counselor, and a Racer 101 Counselor; the Residential College Association as Lee Clark's Representative; the Retention Office as a Great Beginnings Leader; and a member of several University-wide committees and Staff Search Teams. During his spare time, Christian has worked in the Office of Recruitment as a member of their Student Staff and currently works for the Center for Student Involvement as their Office Coordinator & Graduate Assistant.

If you have any questions regarding Registered Student Organizations, the Center for Student Involvement's webpage, or any other questions, please reach out to Christian. GO RACERS!
